Meet Blake

A lender who explains every step.

I’m a mortgage loan originator at TriStar Finance in Kirkland, helping people in Seattle and across the Eastside finance the homes they want to live in, invest in or keep.

I’m also a licensed real estate broker in Washington, so I know what a seller looks for in an offer and how much a smooth financing process matters once you’re under contract.

I genuinely want to help everyone save money on their mortgage. With access to just about every investor and underwriters in-house at TriStar, we can usually do exactly that.

Access to just about every investor

TriStar Finance works with a wide network of capital sources, so we can look for the program that fits you rather than fit you to one program.

Underwriting in-house

TriStar’s underwriters sit down the hall, which usually means quicker answers and fewer surprises late in the process.

Answers when you need them

Calls, texts and emails get a real reply, fast. It is the thing clients mention most in their reviews.

Patience for first-time buyers

No question is too basic and no timeline is too long. One client and I worked together for more than two years before he bought his first home.

A lender who understands real estate

As a licensed real estate broker, I know what your offer needs from its financing and how to help it hold up under a deadline.

How it works

From first call to closing day.

You’ll know what comes next at every step.

  1. We talk it through

A short, no-pressure conversation about your goals, your timeline and your finances.

  2. Get pre-approved

I review your documents and match you with the program that fits, so you know your budget before you start shopping.

  3. Shop with confidence

With a pre-approval in hand, you can make offers knowing your financing is already lined up.

  4. Lock and underwrite

We lock your terms when the time is right, and TriStar’s in-house underwriters work your file for quicker answers.

  5. Close and move in

I stay in touch through the final steps until you have the keys.
